The headphones you employ for your killer workout might provide that external motivation you need push through, but are you stunting your inner motivation? Take a break from the tunes, podcast, or TV a few times per week. Instead, tune into your breath, your form, your intention. Find bliss in the actual activity, not just the satisfaction having completed it. You deserve to dedicate your workout time to freedom from the iPhone. Let your mind, body, and spirit integrate- even if this is the only time that that can happen in a day.
